Welcome(d) is a short advocacy film produced for ECAR at Wake Forest. The film charts the story of two refugees who emigrated from war-torn countries, the difficulties they experienced upon arriving in America, and how ECAR (Every Campus a Refuge) at Wake Forest was able to connect them with a support system and the resources to build a better life in Winston-Salem.
The film premiered in October of 2023 at the ECAR Gathering hosted by Wake Forest in Winston Salem.

It's learning the craft and the ingredients, the procedures and the ways. It’s ephemeral and intangible, and at the same time, distinct and known. Sazón, as Anthony finds out, can't be replicated in one day.
